Make the most of your time while at OSCON
Dare to put away your laptop/iPhone/Crackberry and introduce yourself to two other people sitting around you before each session begins.
Play hooky from a session and hang out in the hallway instead.
Put your picture on your wiki page so that if someone wants to meet you, it won't be just because he/she happens to see your nametag.
Look over the Facebook group and Who's Who list and make a point of reaching out to at least three other participants.
Don't sit by yourself at meals–join a table with at least one other person and introduce yourself.
Start a discussion on the Facebook group.
Go to at least one Birds of a Feather session and participate. Or better yet, sign up to lead a BoF yourself.
Pick three booths that you want to visit in the Expo Hall and make a point to talk to the reps at each one.
Go to at least one party or after hours event and introduce yourself to someone else waiting in line for a drink or snacks.
Go to the mike during sessions and ask the speaker/s a question. Be sure to say your name and affiliation too–it will help others in the room reach out to you later!
Join/Start a Hacky-Sac circle.
Join the "OSCON 2008" group in Second Life.
